Relations with India and China should be equal: Narayankaji Shrestha

Oct 05, Kathmandu- Senior Vice President of CPN (Maoist Center) Narayankaji Shrestha has said that Nepal should promote relations with neighboring countries both India and China with priority.

He said that to fulfill the task of the country's economic prosperity, the government should prioritize relations with both India and China based on equality.

Speaking at the Nepal-Venezuela Friendship Association declaration program held in Kathmandu on Saturday, Senior Vice President Shrestha also made it clear that Nepal should always keep the national interest at the center and advance its relations with other countries.

He emphasized that since world politics is focusing on Asia, Nepal should also understand the geopolitical sensitivity and advance its foreign relations.

According to Senior Vice President Shrestha, Nepal should advance the policy of keeping the national interests of the country at the center and maintaining friendly relations with everyone.

Shrestha said that Nepal is following an independent foreign policy and should not deviate from it.
