Oct 06, Kathmandu- Prakashman Singh has been appointed as the Chief Justice.
Basanta Prasad Panthi, Assistant Spokesperson of the President's Office informed that President Ram Chandra Paudel has appointed the Chief Justice on the recommendation of the Constitutional Council in accordance with Article 129, Clause 2 of the Constitution.
The newly appointed Chief Justice Raut will take oath today. Assistant Spokesperson Panthi said that 1:30 am has been fixed at the President's office for that.
