Oct 08, Kathmandu- The Election Commission has submitted the annual report of the work done in the financial year 2080/081 to President Ram Chandra Paudel.

Chief Election Commission Dinesh Kumar Thapalia presented the report to President Paudel in a program held at Presidence residence Sheetal Niwas on Tuesday.

On that occasion, President Paudel said that periodic elections are a basis for the strengthening of the federal democratic republic and the development and stability of the country.

He expressed the opinion that it is a beautiful and indispensable aspect of democracy as the people can obtain and use their democratic rights through elections.
