Dengue: More than 17 thousand patients across the country

Oct 08, Kathmandu- The number of dengue patients across the country has increased to more than 17 thousand.

According to the statistics of the Ministry of Health and Population, Epidemiology and Disease Control Division (EDCD), the number of dengue patients in the country is 17 thousand 602 till Tuesday.

According to the details of EDCD, dengue infected people have been found all over the country except Jumla. According to EDC, Kaski, Kathmandu and Tanahun have the highest number of confirmed cases.

It has been confirmed that there are 2 thousand 709 dengue patients in Kaski, 2 thousand 567 in Kathmandu, 1 thousand 954 in Tanahun, 1,421 in Parbat. Similarly, 907 dengue patients have been found in Chitwan, 620 in Gorkha, 646 in Lalitpur, 589 in Baglung, 308 in Bhaktapur and 296 in Syangja.

It has been confirmed that Gandaki, Bagmati, Lumbini and Koshi provinces have the highest number of dengue patients. 5 thousand 571 dengue patients have been confirmed in Bagmati province, 1 thousand 422 in Koshi province.

Similarly, dengue has been confirmed in 1 thousand 135 people in Lumbini province, 251 in Karnali province, 343 in Madhesh province, 818 people in Sudurpaschim province and 8 thousand 62 people in Gandaki province.
