Oct 12, Kathmandu- Nepal is competing with Uzbekistan today for the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) U-20 Men's Volleyball Championship title.

The fine encounter in Colombo, Sri Lanka will start at 3 pm local time. In the last match of the league stage held yesterday, Nepal defeated Turkmenistan 3-0 in straight sets and entered the finals.

Before that, Nepalal defeated Sri Lanka and Maldives in straight sets by 3-0, while they lost to Uzbekistan by 3-1 and Kyrgyzstan by 3-2.

Nepal entered the finals by being in second place, while Uzbekistan reached the finals by being in first place with 100 percent victory. Uzbekistan won all the matches in the group stage.

Organized by the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation, Turkmenistan, Maldives, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Nepal are participating in the tournament along with Sri Lanka.
