Oct 14, Kathmandu- The police have arrested a fake policeman with drugs near Lal Bakaiya Bridge located in Paroha Municipality Ward No. 2 of Rautahat District.

On the basis of the information that the police asked locals to check and extort money, the patrol team deployed from the temporary police post Jigadawa of Rautahat arrested the fake policemen with drugs.

At 9: 30 pm on Sunday, the police arrested Sunil Kumar Baithala, 35 y/o, son of Ramavtar Baithala, a resident of the local Paroha Municipality 2, during a search operation, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Deepak Kumar Rai, spokesperson of the District Police Office Rautahat. The police have claimed that he confirmed to be the police, trying to collect money with all resources, including investigating the lives of various people.

While checking the body and bag of the suspect at Lal Bakaiya Bridge, Rs 17,935 in cash, 10 pieces of Nitrovet tablets, 2-03-019 P9537 No 1, 22 Puria La and drugs (200 grams) Mobile Than 1 and Cocas DX 1 bottles were found inside the bag.
