Oct 15, Kathmandu- Harka Sampang, the head of Dharan sub-metropolitan city, has given the position of the acting mayor to the ward chairman while he is the deputy head.

Sampang, who is going to the UK, has given Lokendra Kumar Fagu, the chairman of Ward No. 11, the role of acting mayor, despite being the deputy chief.

Sampang gave the responsibility to the ward chairman after the relationship with the deputy head of Dharan, Aindra Bikram Begha, deteriorated. Harka Sampang will return to Nepal from Britain on November 2.

Sampang sent a letter to the ward chairman Lokendra Kumar Fagu on Ashwin 23, stating that he will not be able to perform these tasks from Ashwin 28 until he returns from the UK, stating that he will not be able to perform these duties.
