Oct 15, Kathmandu- The government is going to give vitamin 'A' capsules and deworming medicine to children across the country on 2nd and 3rd of Kartik.

The Ministry of Health and Population has issued a notification and informed that on the 2nd and 3rd of Kartik, children from all over the country will be given anti-worm medicine and vitamin 'A' capsules.

According to the ministry, children between six months and five years old are being given vitamin A capsules and children between one year and five years old are being given anti-worm medicine.

In addition, the ministry has requested that children under five years of age should go to the nearest health institution and get vaccinated if they miss any routine vaccination that should be administered for 15 months.
