World Food Day Being Celebrated Today All Over The World Except Nepal

Oct 16, Kathmandu- The 44th World Food Day is being celebrated around the world today. In Nepal, this day has been celebrated on the 21st of Ashwin by the government.

Other NGOs working in the areas of food security and rights are celebrating today. This year, the slogan is 'Right to food for a happy life and a prosperous future'. The day is celebrated to raise awareness against global hunger and malnutrition.

This day emphasizes food security and ensuring access to nutritious food for all. World Food Day is celebrated every year on October 16 at the call of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

While celebrating the day by emphasizing that the global community should unite in sustainable agriculture and food production to address the global food challenges and that no one should go hungry, people who are in the grip of hunger due to extreme conflicts, disasters and crises in agricultural food systems due to the effects of climate change, extreme economic crisis, etc. And Agriculture Organization (FAO) said.

According to the organization, more than 2.8 billion people in the world lack a healthy diet.
