Oct 17, Kathmandu- An Indian citizen has gone missing after drowning in the river in Kailali.

According to the police, a 50-year-old man, identified as Chotu, an Indian citizen, who worked at Ratan Khatri's shop in Tikapur Municipality-8, drowned in the Mohana river and disappeared.

Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kabindra Singh Bohora said that he went missing while bathing in the river on Wednesday.

The police are searching for him with the help of locals, but the situation is still unknown, the police said.
