Oct 17, Kathmandu- Three residences were consumed by flames in Juwidha, located within Tilagufa Municipality-6 of Kalikot. As reported by the Kalikot police, two additional houses sustained damage from the unexpected fire that originated in the home of local resident Parek Shahi.

The incident occurred on Wednesday evening. As reported by Poshan Thapa, the Information Officer at the District Police Office in Kalikot, the residence of Parek Shahi was entirely consumed by flames. The damage to the other two houses was comparatively less severe.

Police were dispatched to the scene under the leadership of Police Inspector Kishore KC from the District Police Office to manage the fire. With the assistance of local residents, the police successfully contained the blaze. Information Officer Thapa stated that efforts are underway to gather information regarding the extent of the damage caused by the incident.
