Ten Syrian Civilians Killed In Russian Attack

Oct 17, Kathmandu- Ten people were killed in a Russian attack on a site with furniture in northwestern Syria. In addition, 30 people were injured, according to the War Monitoring Organization.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, 10 people, including a child, were killed and 30 people, including 14 children, were injured in the Russian airstrike in the countryside of Idlib.

Russia has hit a saw mill, furniture and an olive press on the outskirts of Idlib, the organization said.

Syria's civil defense forces said their teams were removing the bodies of people killed in the Russian airstrike from the rubble.

According to the Civil Defense Force, Wednesday's attack "targeted furniture while the workers were inside, killing ten civilians and seriously injuring 32 others."

The Russian military, which is cooperating with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, has not commented on the bombing in the attack on Idlib.

The Al-Qaeda group has control over half of Idlib province and other areas. After the attack of the Syrian government in March 2020, a ceasefire was announced in the region through mediation by Russia and Turkey.
