Sri Lanka Won The T20 Series With West Indies

Oct 18, Kathmandu- Sri Lanka won the T20 series with West Indies. The series was won by defeating West Indies by nine wickets in the third and final T-20 match last night. Chasing the target of 163 runs given by West Indies, Sri Lanka found it by losing only one wicket in 18 overs.

Kushal Mendis scored an unbeaten 68 and Kusal Perera scored an unbeaten 55 for Sri Lanka. Gudakesh Motie of West Indies took one wicket.

Before that, West Indies, who won the toss and batted first, scored 161 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Captain Rovman Powell scored the highest 37 runs for West Indies. Sri Lanka's Mahesh Thekshana and Wanindu Hasaranga took two wickets each.

Earlier in the first T20 match, Sri Lanka lost to the West Indies by five wickets and won the second match by 73 runs. Now the three-match ODI series between Sri Lanka and West Indies will start from Sunday at Pallekele.
