Oct 18, Kathmandu- The Manakamana cable car has resumed regular operation.

According to Ujjwal Sherchan, Deputy Manager of Manakamana Darshan Pvt. Ltd., the cable car, which was closed for maintenance from Ashwin 29th to this Kartik 1st, has started regular operation from today.

Manager Sherchan said that in addition to the maintenance, there was work to be done to cut the cables of the cable car.

The Mankamana cable car has been put into operation since Mangsir 8, 2055 for the convenience of pilgrims going to the famous religious place Mankamana Mandir in Sahid Lakhan Rural Municipality of Gorkha.

 The cable car entrance bottom station is at 4 Cheres, Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality of Chitwan.
