Yuvraj Safal Filed A Complaint Against Prime Minister Oli In The Investigation Of Abuse Authority

Oct 18, Kathmandu- A complaint has been filed against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority.

A formal complaint has been submitted against Oli, alleging that land was appropriated under the pretext of constructing a party office, which the businessman is also expected to develop. Yuvraj Paudel (Safal) from Sindhuli has filed this complaint with the commission today. The complaint calls for an investigation in accordance with the Prevention of Corruption Act 2059 and requests appropriate action as deemed necessary.

The Prevention of Corruption Act 2059 (as amended) categorizes the acceptance of donations as an act of corruption. The complaint alleges that the Prime Minister has breached this law. Recently, the matter has sparked controversy following the donation of 10 ropani 14 annas of land by Min Bahadur Gurung, the chairman of Bhatbhateni Super Market, for the establishment of the central party office of UML.
