Drone Attack Targeting Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's Residence

Oct 19, Kathmandu- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's private residence was targeted by a drone attack from Lebanon on Saturday, the Israeli Prime Minister's Office said in a statement.

The statement stated that Netanyahu and his wife Sarah were not at home at the time of the attack and that no injuries were reported in the incident.

According to a report by the Times of Israel, two other drones that were flown from Lebanon on Saturday morning were shot down by Israel's air defense. Amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the people of Gaza on Friday, saying "the war could end tomorrow if Hamas agrees to lay down its arms and return the hostages."

He made the comments hours after Israel confirmed the death of Yahya Sinwar, the head of Hamas and the mastermind behind the October 7 attacks. The Israel Defense Forces revealed on Thursday that Sinwar and two other terrorists were killed by Israel

Netanyahu revealed that Hamas is currently holding 101 hostages in Gaza, including citizens of 23 different countries, including Israel.
