Bomb Threat On Air New Zealand Flight

Oct 20, Kathmandu- Local media reported that there was a bomb threat on an Air New Zealand flight at Sydney Airport.

According to Sky News Australia, such threats were received on an Air New Zealand flight that left Wellington for Sydney with 140 passengers on Saturday.

Flight NZ-247 from Wellington at 5:40 pm, the aircraft was reported to have landed safely. According to the report, Air New Zealand confirmed it was aware of the potential security threat after the plane was stopped on the tarmac.

"We are working with local authorities and following established standard protocols for such incidents," the airline's chief security officer, Captain David Morgan, said in a statement.
