Oct 20, Kathmandu- Kaski's urban square and Gahirapatak area have been declared a prohibited area. After the arrest of former Home Minister and Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane, the District Administration Office has declared those areas of Kaski as prohibited areas.

The district administration office issued a notice on Sunday saying that the prohibition order has been issued as adverse conditions may be created due to demonstrations, processions, riots, clashes etc.

Chief District Officer of the District Administration Office, Bharatmani Pandey informed that this prohibition order will be enforced from today until further notice is issued.

According to him, anyone who violates this order or obstructs the execution of this order during that period will be punished according to the prevailing law.
