Oct 20, Kathmandu- A campaign has been launched in Kathmandu Valley to fine those who violate traffic rules via Citizen App.

Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has launched the e-chalan (digital chit) of Traffic Violation Record System (TVRS). With the launch of this service, citizens using the app will be able to show their driving license through their phone. To take action, the traffic police can scan the QR code displayed on the citizen app.

A young man who was not following the traffic rules crossing the lane in front of Singha Durbar has been fined by the Home Minister Ramesh Lakhak.
