Meeting Held Between Deuba And Thapa After Oli Prepared To Introduce The Ordinance

Oct 21, Kathmandu- Nepali Congress Charman Sher Bahadur Deuba and General Minister Gagan Thapa are having a discussion today. After Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli prepared to introduce an ordinance related to party division, General Minister Thapa is going to discuss it with Deuba.

Prime Minister Oli has been trying to negotiate with Deuba to bring the ordinance. PM Oli called chairman Deuba to Baluwatar on Sunday to discuss this issue. But it is understood that Deuba is silent about bringing the ordinance.

At first there was a discussion between Oli and Deuba. Later, General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, Bishnu Paudel from UML, Deuba from Congress along with Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, General Minister Gagan Thapa and other leaders reached Baluwatar. There is a difference of opinion within the Congress leaders regarding bringing the ordinance.

Former Prime Minister and President of Unified Socialist Madhav Nepal, General Secretary Ghanshyam Bhusal and other leaders have been urging Oli to stop the ordinance. This evening, the Cabinet meeting is being held at the Prime Minister's office, Singha Durbar. A minister has said that the ordinance may be submitted today.
