Hot Water Bath In Lalitpur

Oct 26, Kathmandu- Lalitpur Metropolitan City-3 has constructed a hot water bathing facility on the steep hillside.

Ward Chairman Shrigopal Maharjan informed that the ward has brought the bathing house into operation so that six people can take a bath at the same time. The room has been named Unisolar Solar Station. In that station, separate rooms have been arranged for men and women.

According to the survey conducted by the Chinese, 80 rupees per person should be charged for bathing in that room. The office said that half of the amount for the ward residents will be borne by the ward. No formal decision has been taken on this matter. Until a decision is made regarding the fee, we are giving free bathing. Ward Chairman Maharjan said that Yunan Trade Representative Office in Nepal provided financial support to build the bath room. A building was constructed for the home under Yunan's Hand over Hand Public Welfare Programme. The ward office informed that the house was prepared with the technical support of Unisolar Nepal Pvt. Ltd.

The mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Chiribabu Maharjan inaugurated the home during a ceremony held on Friday. On this occasion, Chinese Acting Ambassador to Nepal Wang Xin handed over the building to Ward Chairman Maharjan. At the ceremony, Ambassador Wang said that the home was established in view of the public welfare programs being conducted by the ward. Ambassador Wang also believes that the change of society and nation will happen through small actions.

On that occasion, the ward chairman Maharjan said that the station is a vivid evidence of the hundreds of years old people's level between Nepal and China and the diplomatic relations between the two countries. He also expressed his commitment to continue operating the building and maintaining it. Ward chairman Maharjan also said that society will be changed by doing small tasks well.

It has been found that the ward has been conducting one after the other schemes that directly affect the daily life of the common people under the public interest scheme. Before this, the ward had brought a vocational training centre into operation. Allowance has been provided for poor and helpless, children of single women but studying in public schools. Medicines up to 10,000 for one woman, 10,000 worth of medical expenses, and 10,000 rupees per person to celebrate the birthday of senior citizens who are over 75 years of age have been provided to those who are chronically ill and seriously ill.
