Bomb Alert On Air India Flight To Delhi, Being Checked

Oct 28, Kathmandu- After receiving information that a bomb was placed on an Air India plane returning from Kathmandu to Delhi, a security check is about to take place.

When 158 passengers were boarded by Air India flight number AI 216, the security personnel checked all the passengers separately after receiving the bomb notification. The police have also mobilized a dog for the investigation.

On Monday afternoon at 2.30 pm, after receiving information that there was a bomb on the plane that landed in Kathmandu, the police and the Nepalese army seized the plane for security checks.

It is said that the information about the bomb came from the Air India office in Delhi at the Kathmandu airport.

Earlier last week too, a bomb notification was received on the flight of Vistara Air of India. But later on checking, the information about the presence of a bomb turned out to be false.
