Nov 01, Kathmandu- The Newar community is going to celebrate Mha Puja today and 'Bhai Tika' tomorrow on 17th October. The Bhaktapur mayor decided that the residents of the city should perform Mha Puja today after 5:15 PM as Kachlathwa Pratipada Tithi falls, and as Dwitiya Tithi falls after 7:01 PM on Kartik 17, the Newar community of the city will perform Mha Pooja today and 'Bhai Tika' tomorrow.

Although the Nepal Panchanga Nirnayak Bikash Samiti of the Municipality decided to celebrate 'Bhai Tika' and 'Kija Puja' on 18th Kartik, Bhaktapur Municipality has decided to celebrate it on 17th Kartik and called upon the residents of the city.
