Nov 01, Kathmandu- Amisha Karki, the midfielder of the Nepali National Women's Football Team, has been honored with cash by the SS Foundation.

During an event held in Kathmandu on Friday, they were honored with one lakh rupees in cash for their excellent performance in the SAFF Women's Championship 2024.

After the honor, Karki said that the honor gave her more encouragement to improve her game in the future. She mentioned that Nepal will prepare to win the SAFF women's championship trophy to be held two years later.

Karki scored a goal against Bangladesh in the final match of SAFF Women's Championship at Dasharath Stadium on Wednesday. However, Nepal lost 2-1 in that match and failed to win the SAFF title.
