10 Arrested For Gambling In Lamjung

Nov 02, Kathmandu- The police have arrested 10 people who were gambling in a house located in Kaulepani Village, Benisahar Municipality-2, Lamjung.

The police team under the command of Police Inspector Tul Bahadur Shrestha arrested them on Friday night around 1:30 am, according to the police. District Police Chief DSP Nishant Srivastava said that 11 coins and Rs 272,335 were recovered from the gambler.

He said that the gamblers were arrested from the place which is about 5 km west from the district police office and brought to the district police office around 4 am on Saturday. According to the police, a case will be filed against the arrested gamblers under the crime of gambling and after the Tihar holiday, the case will be proceeded with an extension from the district administration office.
