One Of The 2 Missing Tourists Came Into Contact

Nov 02, Kathmandu- One of the two tourists who went missing while climbing the mountain has been contacted.

According to a local tourism businessman, 50-year-old Marek Holesekka, who was missing in Yalapik, a high part of Gosaikunda Rural Municipality-3 (7,234 meters above sea level) two weeks ago, came in contact with Higher Guest House at Langtang, on Friday evening, through the Thamel-based Kathmandu Trekking Company. Rasuwa District Police Chief Keshav Bhattarai informed that the contact was confirmed.

Another 34-year-old Slovak, Onrej Husarke, who went with him, remains uncontacted. Captain (Pilot) Bibek Khadka, a young senior of Altitude Air, said that onrej got the information from a fellow tourist who had fallen into the hole during the aerial search and rescue operation for two days on Friday and Saturday.

Pilot Khadka said, "Despite an aerial search and rescue effort by helicopter in the sky above Cangjen all day on Friday, the capital had to return due to adverse weather conditions. "Silping Vam was seen from Saturday morning's effort."

Similarly, 43-year-old German citizen Robert George New Wore, who got stuck on the road after getting injured on his leg during the trip to Gosaikund, was rescued by air. He was rescued from Lauri Vinayak by Altitude Air helicopter. According to the air, the tourist is being treated at a private hospital in Sohrakhute.
