Nov 04, Kathmandu- Japan has launched its flagship new H-3 rocket from the Tanegashima Space Center in Kagoshima Prefecture on Monday.
The H3 rocket developed by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has successfully separated from the satellite.
The purpose of this satellite is to increase the exchange of information from space to Japan's Self Defense Force.
Japan's H3 rocket has prepared to completely replace the operation of the H-2A rocket. It is expected that 50 rockets will be launched from fiscal year 2024 to next March.
Monday's launch of H3 is Japan's fourth launch this year, following the failure of its inaugural launch in March 2023 and two successful missions this year.
