Nov 05, Kathmandu- Armed Police Force-4 has seized 1,300 kg of marijuana in four months of the current financial year.

Superintendent of Armed Police Samenanda Bajracharya informed that under the drug control operation launched by Armed Police Sunsari, that amount of marijuana was seized. He said that the armed police stationed in the border area seized the marijuana based on a tip-off while it was being taken to the Indian market using the open border.

During the same period, 91.79 grams of brown sugar and 18,450 pieces of traumanil were recovered. He said that the recovered marijuana and drugs have been handed over to the Nepal Police for necessary action.
