Nov 05, Kathmandu- The court extended another 10 days to investigate Rabi Lamichhane, who was arrested in the cooperative fraud case.
The bench of Judge Chandra Kanta Paudel of District Court Kaski has ordered Rabi to be detained for 10 more days for investigation. The District Public Prosecutor's Office had asked for permission to extend the deadline by 25 days.
The first time he was arrested on Kartik 2nd from Kathmandu was extended by 5 days on Kartik 4th. Again, the deadline was extended by 7 days for the second time. Although the deadline expired on 14th Kartik, the court was brought to the court today to extend the deadline due to Tihar holiday.
The Kaski police are investigating the case of cooperative fraud, organized crime and asset enrichment against Ravi.
