Nov 05, Kathmandu- 'Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi' has done progressive business at the domestic box office. The distribution company Baktis Entertainment has announced the 5-day earnings of the Bijay Baral starrer film.
The film, which was released on the day of Laxmi Puja, Thursday, Kartik 15, has earned 48.7 million gross (4 million net) till Monday, 19 Kartik. From this gross earnings, the producer gets a net income of 20 million.
In this collection, 52 percent of Kathmandu territory and 48 percent of Mofusal have contributed. The film, which had a weak debut on Thursday and Friday, picked up momentum from Saturday with the help of strong 'word of mouth'. After that, continuous occupancy was aggressive.
The producer of the film, which was made at a cost of Rs 1.3 million, has received a complete profit. Manoj Rathi of Banktes Entertainment said, "The producer has made a profit". Looking at the ticket sales and trends, he predicted that the film will earn 20 million on Tuesday. On Tuesday too, the film is showing with more than 200 shows".
The main multiplex chain QFX has already recognized the film as a superhit on Tuesday. This film has also been released in Japan since Tuesday. The Tuesday morning show at Tokyo's Nakano Jiro Hall was seen as a house full. The next show is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
