Chinese Photo Exhibition At The Mountain Museum

Nov 08, Kathmandu- Photos from China's Yunnan have been exhibited at the International Mountain Museum in Ward No. 17 of Pokhara metropolis since Friday. 60 photos of mountains, mountains, mountain sports, etc. of Yunnan province will be put on display until December 31.

In the ceremony held on Friday, Yang Zhonghua, Director of Yunnan Provincial Sports Bureau, Motiraj Timsina, Acting Chief of Pokhara Metropolis and others started the exhibition. In the event, Zhonghua expressed his hope that such activities will further strengthen the age-old relationship between the two countries.

A photo exhibition was held with the slogan 'Mountains meet mountains, residents get closer'. In the same ceremony, 200,000 cash and 30 photo stands were handed over to the museum on behalf of the Yunnan Sports Bureau.

In the program, the executive director of the museum, Nirmala Neupane, expressed the hope that the arrival of Chinese tourists will increase with the exhibition of pictures from neighboring China and the arrival of high-ranking dignitaries.

The Chinese team that came to participate in the 3rd Pokhara International Cross Country Race on Saturday under the joint project of Pokhara Metropolitan City, Chinese Embassy, ​​Nepal Tourism Board and Himalayan Tourism Forum Pokhara also visited the museum along with the photo exhibition.

Dharmaraj Panthi, a member of the museum's board of directors, said that the photo exhibition and the cross country race in Pokhara will further strengthen the relationship between the two countries and also help in the promotion of tourism in Nepal. The Friendship Park (Komagane) in Pokhara built in Pokhara's Bashundhara Park was inaugurated on Friday.
