Nov 11, Kathmandu- Preparations have been made to form a parliamentary sub-committee to further discuss the bill to amend and unify the laws related to school education.
The Education, Health and Information Technology Committee under the House of Representatives has prepared to proceed with the process through the sub-committee for quarterly discussion. However, the process of forming the sub-committee has not been carried forward due to lack of quorum for the meeting. The meeting was tried to be called for this Kartik 28, but the date of the meeting has not been fixed since many MPs could not attend. One third of the members are required for the committee meeting. There are currently 24 members in the committee.
