Lawyer Arrested For Giving Death Threats To Shah Rukh Khan

Nov 12, Kathmandu- Mumbai Police has arrested a lawyer named Faizan Khan from Chhattisgarh's capital Raipur on the charge of threatening to kill actor Shah Rukh Khan.

Police brought Faizan Khan to Bandra police station on November 11 after questioning him in Raipur last week.

A Raipur police officer said that on November 5, he called the Bandra police station in Mumbai and threatened to kill Shah Rukh Khan and demanded Rs 50 lakh. Following this, the police registered a case against the unidentified caller.

Police investigation revealed that the SIM card of the threatened phone was in the name of Faizan Khan of Raipur. The next day, three police officers from Mumbai reached Raipur, where they interrogated Faizan Khan.

After this inquiry, Faizan Khan told the media – the phone threatening Shah Rukh Khan was lost on November 2. He filed a written complaint at the Raipur police station.

Faizan Khan recently alleged that he saw a clip from the 1994 Shah Rukh Khan film 'Anjaam' in which Shah Rukh is hunting a deer with a gun in his hand. In this scene, he is asking his servant Hari Singh to cook and eat a deer in the car.

Along with this, the actress, who played the role of a mother in the film, asked Shah Rukh Khan why he would kill an innocent animal. Shah Rukh Khan has said that he liked it and enjoyed it very much.

According to Faizan, after seeing this scene, he wrote a letter to the Jodhpur Police and Rajasthan Police on October 29 and complained about the matter.

He had alleged in the complaint that the Bishnoi community of Rajasthan was worshiping deer. This kind of dialogue hurts the faith of the Bishnoi community and creates a rift between the two communities. Faizan Khan filed a case against Shahrukh Khan and demanded a ban on the film 'Anjam' which was released in 1994.
