Dozen Nepalese Expelled From Malaysia

Nov 15, Kathmandu- The Malaysian government has expelled 12 Nepalese who went for foreign employment. Malaysia expelled them for violating immigration laws. According to the Immigration Department, they arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday. They were deported by Malaysia and arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday. It is said to have violated immigration laws. However, it has not been clearly stated which law,' said the Immigration Department source.

Those expelled include Vijaysinh Gangi, Budhilal Musahar, Pravash Kumar Biswas, Anil Lodh, Shyam Kumar Limbu, Ishwar Kumar Rai, Rajan Das, Tularam Oli, Ram Kumar Sada, Jitendra Thakur, Ramsevak Mandal and Vivek Yadav. They had travelled to Malaysia on a Malindo Airlines flight for foreign employment. The Maldives, the UK and Qatar have also expelled one Nepali each.

According to the Immigration Department, Dilpakumari Sarki, who arrived in Maldives by Sri Lankan Airlines, Gudu Sheikh, who arrived in Doha by Qatar Airlines, and Sagar Gurung, who arrived in the UK by Thai Airlines, were deported after they were found to have traveled against the immigration laws. Recently, Malaysia has been cracking down on illegal entrants. He has also been monitoring workers who come to Malaysia for foreign employment.
