Hamas Releases Fourth Video Of Israeli Hostage Trupanov

Nov 16, Kathmandu- The Palestinian militant group Hamas, active in Gaza, has released a new clip of Israeli hostage Sasa Trupanov, who was held in Gaza after the 2023 October attack.

In an earlier video released on Wednesday, Trupanov, identified by relatives, appealed to Aryeh Deri, leader of the Sephardi ultra-Orthodox party Saas, a member of Israel's ruling coalition, to help free him and other hostages in Gaza.

Saas Party supports the release of hostages whenever possible according to Jewish religious duty. 29-year-old Trupanov is a Russian-Israeli dual citizen. He was abducted along with his girlfriend Sapir Cohen from Nir Oz Kibbutz on the Gaza border.

His mother and grandmother were also abducted and released in November 2023 in a week-long ceasefire and hostage-prisoner exchange. His father Vitaly was killed in the attack on October 7, 2023. The attack was the deadliest in Israel's history. This is Trupanov's fourth video released by Islamic Jihad.
