1.7 Million Of Female Patients To Be Given Free Vaccination Against Cervical Cancer

Nov 17, Kathmandu- As the number of cervical and breast cancer patients is increasing worldwide, the government of Nepal has decided to give vaccination against cervical cancer from next 22nd of Magh to 6th of Falgun (15 days) on the occasion of World Cancer Day.

Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel has decided to set the date for vaccination by making a ministerial decision on Tuesday. With this decision, 16 lakh 88 thousand 768 girls in the age group of 10 to 14 years will get free vaccination.
