20 Gazans Killed In Israeli Airstrikes

Nov 17, Kathmandu- At least 20 people have been killed in the latest Israeli attack on Gaza.

Gaza's civil defense agency said at least 20 people, including four women and three children, were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Sunday. Civil Defense Spokesman Mahmoud Basal informed that 10 people were killed in the attack on the Burez refugee camp in central Gaza.

In another attack on a house in the camp, at least one woman died and 10 people were injured. Bassal said that the southern city of Rafah was attacked by an Israeli drone on Sunday morning, and as a result, at least five people were killed and 11 others were injured.

He said four other people, including three women and a child, were killed in an overnight attack on a house west of the Nusirat camp in central Gaza.

Gaza's health ministry said on Saturday that the death toll in the 13-month-long war has reached 43,799. Statistics of the ministry show that most of the deaths are civilians and it is considered reliable by the United Nations.

As of October 7, 2023, 1,206 people were killed in attacks by Hamas, according to Israeli figures provided to AFP.
