Nov 17, Kathmandu- The dead bodies of 3 children who went missing from different places while bathing in Kamala river in Siraha were found on Sunday.
The body of 14-year-old Abhishek Yadav of Budhaura, Sirha municipality-15, who went missing while bathing in the Kamala river at Sirha's Baswitta, was found on Sunday.
DSP Birendra Kumar Paswan, spokesperson of District Police Office, Siraha, informed that his body was found about 500 meters south of the under-construction Kamala river bridge under Hulaki road.
The child's body has been sent to Siraha Provincial Hospital for post-mortem. His body was found by the police diving team after searching.
Similarly, the body of 15-year-old Laxman Kumar Shah of Mirchaiya Municipality-5 of Siraha, who went missing while bathing in the Kamala River at Karjanha Municipality-1 Uttarwahini of Siraha on Friday, was also found on Sunday.
His body, which was found in the Kamala river in Bandipur, has also been sent to the provincial hospital in Siraha for post-mortem.
The body of 16-year-old Roshan Mandal, son of neighborhood Bindeshwar Mandal, who went missing while bathing with Laxman, was found in the river on Friday.
It is believed that taking a bath in the Kamala river on the Kartik Shukla Purnima will get rid of the influence of ghosts and family deities.
