Nov 19, Kathmandu- UML Chairman and Prime Minister KP Oli and Congress Charman Sher Bahadur Deuba are having a meeting. After discussing with the two general ministers, Deuba is going to Baluwatar to meet Prime Minister Oli.

Prime Minister Oli and Deuba are going to meet to discuss current affairs including Prime Minister Oli's upcoming visit to China and making the government's operations more effective.

After the government of two major parties, it will be necessary to make it more effective. However, since it's only been four months, it doesn't seem like there is talk of changing the minister now," said Prime Minister Oli's press coordinator Ramsharan Bajgai.

Just a few days ago, Congress and UML formed an 8-member mechanism including top leaders to make the government more effective.

Before meeting the Prime Minister, Chairman Deuba met with the party's general ministers Gagan Thapa and Bishwa Prakash Sharma.

According to Speaker Deuba's personal secretary Bhanu Deuba, both the General Ministers briefed Speaker Deuba on the issue of by-elections at the local level.
