Nov 21, Kathmandu- Ukraine says Russia has fired a long-range missile. According to the Air Force of Ukraine, Russia launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) from the Astrakhan region on Thursday morning.

This is the first time that Russia has fired an ICBM at Ukraine since the war with Ukraine began. Such missiles can reach a distance of thousands of km.

The Ukrainian military has also said that it shot down six KH-101 cruise missiles during the attack.

Russia's move came just days after the US gave Ukraine permission to use long-range missiles it had given it on Russian soil.
