Kathmandu's Traffic System Disrupted Due To UML's Awareness Rally

Nov 22, Kathmandu- The traffic system in Kathmandu Valley has become chaotic due to the demonstration organized by the ruling party CPN-UML. Those who went out of the house for special work are stuck in traffic jams.

Currently, Kathmandu's major roads, including New Road, Shahid Gate, Sundhara, Jamal Bhrikutimandap, Bhadrakali, Baneshwor, Maitighar and other areas, are heavily congested. UML is holding a Jagran Sabha at Durbar Marg today. The rally that was taken out from Bhadrakali for the demonstration will reach Durbar Marg and turn into a meeting.

UML Chairman and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will address the meeting.

A joint awareness rally is being held at Durbarmarg in Kathmandu today, jointly organized by the Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur district committees of the UML. Earlier, the awareness rally was scheduled to be held at Bhrikutimand, but it was decided to change the venue to Durbarmarg on Wednesday.

UML Kathmandu Chairman Deepak Niraula said that the rally will start from Bhadrakali and reach Durbarmarg before turning into a meeting. He said that the program has been organized to break the social chaos spread in Nepali society. Niraula claimed that tomorrow's program will break the illusion spread about UML, the baseless accusations and insults made against the government and UML Chairman Oli.

According to him, the rally will reach Darbamarg via Sundhara, Bir Hospital, Ratna Park Ghantaghar. UML has stated that the awareness rally was held to shift negative attitudes towards a positive direction, maintain national harmony and lead the society in the right direction.

The CPN-UML has claimed that 100,000 citizens will attend the awareness rally.
