The process of unity has begun by stopping the chain of division: Prachanda

Nov 22, Kathmandu- CPN-Maoist Center Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said that the divided Maoist parties are in the process of unification.

At a meeting and discussion with party workers at Kurintar, Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-4, Chitwan today, Chairman Dahal said that the series of divisions has stopped and the process of unity has begun.

Chairman Dahal said, "There is no alternative to unity now, the chain of division has stopped, all Maoists are in the process of unity." He said that a fully proportional and direct executive presidential system is necessary for the development and exit of the country.

Chairman Dahal said, "We are calling for a fully proportional and direct executive presidential system, now intellectuals from all parties are gradually starting to say that this is right." He said that the current electoral system will increase political corruption.

Chairman Dahal has instructed the cadres to explain to the public all the good works done by the party.
