PM Seeks Suggestions From Former PM And Former Foreign Ministers Regarding China Visit

Nov 25, Kathmandu- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has sought suggestions from former prime ministers and former foreign ministers regarding his upcoming visit to China.

Prime Minister Oli sought suggestions while organizing a discussion at noon on Monday at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Singha Durbar.

Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to visit China on Mangsir 17. He will meet the Chinese Prime Minister and President on Mangsir 18.

The discussion held at Singha Durbar at the invitation of Prime Minister Oli is being attended by former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', who is also the chairman of the main opposition CPN (Maoist Center), former Prime Minister and Chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist Party) Madhav Kumar Nepal, former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal, and the then Chairman of the Council of Ministers Khilraj Regmi.

Also present are former Foreign Ministers Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Bimala Rai Paudyal, Mahendra Pandey, NP Saud, Ishwor Pokharel, and others.

Former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is also the President of the Nepali Congress, was not present at the discussion. President Deuba was absent from the discussion held at Singha Durbar as he had gone to Janakpur on Monday.

Former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai is also absent from the discussion as he is in Gorkha. He had given suggestions to Prime Minister Oli through social media.

Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba is also participating in the discussion.
