Nov 25, Kathmandu- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the Nepal Premier League (NPL) will directly help promote Nepal's tourism and showcase young talent on the international stage.
Unveiling the NPL trophy from the historic Dharahara complex today, he pledged that the government would provide all possible support and encouragement for the league. He said that he expected the NPL to add a new dimension to Nepali cricket.
Cricket is also a dream and a matter of pride for our generation. Through this league, a new dimension can be added to Nepali cricket, he said, "The government is with us here".
"Personally, whether I am in the government or not, my interest and belonging will always remain. I would like to wish all the participating players victory", he said.
