Ukraine Says Russia Launched 188 Drones Overnight

Nov 26, Kathmandu- Russia launched 188 drones into Ukraine overnight, the Ukrainian military said on Tuesday. The drone attacks damaged Ukrainian buildings and “critical infrastructure,” the military said.

Moscow and Kyiv have been expanding drone and missile launches in recent times, while Ukraine recently fired US long-range missiles at Russia, to which the Kremlin responded with an experimental hypersonic missile.

The military said Russia had shot down unidentified unmanned drones, which it said were of Iranian design.

The military said it had shot down 76 Russian drones in 17 locations and another 95 were shot down by electronic defense systems.

The air alert lasted five hours and ten Russian drones were shot down, AFP reported, citing officials in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv.
