Nov 28, Kathmandu- South Indian actor Dhanush and his wife Aishwarya have divorced.

They had said they decided to separate in 2022. According to Indian media outlet Dainik Jagran, the court has granted permission for Dhanush and Aishwarya to divorce.

Dhanush's wife Aishwarya is the daughter of famous actor Rajinikanth. Dhanush and Aishwarya got married in 2004. They have two sons.

Dhanush was only 21 years old and Aishwarya was 23 when they got married.

Producer Kasturi Raja's son Dhanush is active in acting, directing and producing as well as in music. He is also a singer and screenplay writer.

He is a much-loved actor by his fans. Fans have written on social media expressing their sadness over the news of Dhanush and Aishwarya's breakup.
