Nov 28, Kathmandu- The police have arrested one person on charges of human trafficking. While four girls were being taken from Nepal to India, the police team deployed from the area police office, Bhantabari, arrested one of them.
Sanoj Sada, 26, a resident of Kanchanrup Municipality-12, Saptari, was arrested from Koshi Rural Municipality-8, Bhantabari, according to District Police Spokesperson Ram Prasad Timalsina. He said that he was being taken to India by luring people with the promise of "working people in India, and getting the salary they promised."
Police spokesperson Timalsina informed that the arrested Sada has been kept in the custody of the District Police Office and further investigation is underway. According to him, all four girls have been rescued and handed over to their relatives.
