In this crowd was Yasuaki Aoyama, who is studying in the fourth grade. Now he has become the president of Ioyama Science Company. His company manufactures bathtubs and showerheads.

This year, Ayoyama is preparing to launch a state-of-the-art human washing machine. Speaking to reporters recently, Ayoyama said that they are introducing the new machine as a "legacy" of the 1970 Expo.

He also said that the updated model of the machine will be displayed at the Kansai Expo in Osaka in April 2025. The Human Washing Machine of the 1970s used ultrasound to produce large air bubbles to clean users and to produce plastic balls to massage them.

The machine the company is currently developing uses tiny, microscopic air bubbles, and is equipped with special sensors to measure the user's pulse rate and other data to maintain the correct temperature.

It is said that the AI system in it can determine whether the user is calm or nervous or excited. It remains to be seen how the human washing machine made by the company will work.

Aoyama said the company hopes to have up to a thousand people bathed by the machine during a demonstration at next year's Osaka Expo.
