Nov 29, Kathmandu- The statement of Rastriya Swatantra Party President Rabi Lamichhane, who was arrested on charges of embezzling cooperative funds, has concluded on Friday.

Lamichhane's statement was recorded at the District Attorney's Office, Kathmandu, since Friday morning. The statement concluded for today at 3:30 pm.

The district attorney has stated that additional statements will be taken on Sunday.

Lamichhane has been brought to Kathmandu for investigation into the embezzlement of funds from the Swarnalaxmi Cooperative in Kalimati. An arrest warrant has been issued against him by the Kathmandu District Court.

He was arrested on Sunday, Kartik 2.
