Dec 02, Kathmandu- According to the latest results of the elections held for various local level posts, the Congress has lost two rural municipality chairmen, one vice-chairman and one municipal deputy mayor.

Among the winners in 2079, the Congress has lost the Gramthan rural municipality chairmen of Morang. Similarly, it has also lost the Mahabu rural municipality chairmen of Dailekh, the Nalgadh municipality deputy mayor of Jajarkot and the Swami Kartik rural municipality deputy chairman of Bajura.

In terms of wards, the Congress has also won 15 wards out of the 19 wards that were won by the Congress. The Congress has previously snatched 3 wards won by the UML and 4 wards won by the Maoists.
